Michael or “Micha” [MY-kah] Hardaway (13/2014) was the frontman for Lies of Truth, one of the perennial top ten bands in the country, when the virus came calling.  As a thirty-eight-year-old, he’d had nearly twenty years in the public eye as a singer and musician. 

His reputation as a hard-partying, wild child was more than just press hype as well.  He was every bit as hedonistic as any of the rumors and press clippings and probably a bit more.  Music was his passion and anything else was just along for the ride.  With his bandmates, he cut a wide swath across the nightlife in any city he played.  Even a couple of overdoses, including the one that forced the retirement of the band’s original drummer at 31, didn’t slow any of them down. 

With the news of the AR Virus in April of 2052, Micha found something that didn’t care for talent or pleasure, an unstoppable force that changed the direction of his life permanently.
