Chapter 7
Beachhouse

Chapter Description: Too lazy to come up with one.

It had been twenty years since Lilith moved with Kevin and Sara from her teaching position at the community college. Since she had altered her own bank account so that she had loads of money, she had moved to a private island where she could re-raise her students. She taught them all about witchcraft as well as math, science, and literature. They had grown up to be expert witch assistants as opposed to their past lives. They could identify which plants had which scientific or magical properties. Kevin and Sara knew that they’d be regressed again since Lilith didn’t have a means to get to regress anyone else, but they didn’t know when. They did know, however, that they would not be fully regressed into infants this time as they were last time; their teenage years would be sufficient since they already knew what she needed them to know, but they didn’t mind so much as this more or less guaranteed them that they would definitely live longer lives than most other humans would. Lilith could not go out into civilization since the coven was still trying to track her whereabouts so she encouraged Kevin and Sara to go out every now and then so they could gather what information they could on the coven’s movements.

So far it seemed as though the coven hadn’t the slightest clue as to Lilith’s whereabouts, which Lilith couldn’t say she minded all that much herself. In a full-out hunt sanctioned by the coven she knew she’d have no chance of escape and she knew her assistants would surely be killed from the encounter. Lilith had promised them both that she would protect them at all costs, and that was a promise she intended to keep, the only problem was she couldn’t seem to break the seal placed on her mind that concealed the full extent of her power. She had broken her own seal that she had placed upon herself, but tapping into her magic was very difficult. The government was clever to set up the remaining witches like that and slowly turn them against each other. She knew they were very uncomfortable with the fact that there were witches who would live forever unless they all got killed, so they had pitted them against each other and all she could do was bide her time on this god forsaken island. Kevin and Sara had gone to civilization for the last few days and Lilith was dying of lack of company. It was when Lilith heard the phone ring that she snapped out of her reverie.

“Hey, Mom?” This was what Kevin and Sara were supposed to call her whenever they called her on the phone. If they were all together on the island she didn’t care what they called her and expressly told them so. Still, they addressed her as ‘Mom’ anyway. “I met this one guy in town and he’s interested in coming over for a few days.” Lilith had told them not to bring anyone back with them to the island, but since she felt like she was going to go insane from being lonely she had to agree this time, she’d never let Kevin or Sara know that, but that was how she truly felt.

“Oh, sure sweetie. He’s not the one, is he?” Lilith teased. Sara never talked to her about interest in men, and she didn’t know if she was just hiding interest or if she just didn’t have one for lack of time and exposure.

“Haha, no Mom, I just met him and he seems nice. I’m going to bring him over, okay?”

“Alright, Sara, you have my permission. Safe travels.” Lilith hung up. She felt as though she were getting older, even though she looked exactly the same as she had twenty years ago. She guessed it was all in seeing the kids grow up. She had always avoided making acquaintances due to the coven’s recommendation, but now that she remembered the coven was really a government program used to terminate older witches, she had broken all sorts of taboos. After putting her phone back in her pocket, she decided to get back to work on recovering her spells and her memories, that is the real reason she sent her students to town after all. During their absence was her chance to break her witch’s seal and grow stronger.

Lilith had to meditate in order to attempt her attacks on the seal. Where spells required concentration of the mind, breaking seals cost undivided attention, which was the precise reason for her current location. No one could bother her here while Kevin and Sara were out. The only power she had access to at the moment was very basic manipulation of matter. She could cause electrons to gather to one place so they would arc to her target, making sparks and bolts, or she could cause flammable gasses within an object to combust, making fire… the most complicated spells she remembered were in age regression, which specifically targeted another human, during which time they had to be completely unaware of the spell they were under, or they could try to resist, which would require too much more focus. No witch could afford that much focus during a battle, so Lilith could not go regressing mortals as she pleased. She though it was very risky even to invite a stranger from town to their hideout, but she felt the same as did Kevin and Sara- they needed new faces around the house. She felt as though this was as far as she’d get with the seal today, so she started preparing the house for their visitor.

The next day around noon Sara, Kevin, and the newcomer were on Lilith’s doorstep. Sara took her friend’s hand in her own as they both walked in. “Mom, this is Alvin,” she said, “Alvin, this is my mother.”

“It’s a pleasure, Ms. Burkson.” Burkson was the last name they’d been using the last twenty years. It was kind of an odd name, but not odd enough to draw suspicion.

“Welcome, Alvin. I trust you’ve already had occasion to meet my son, Kevin?” She inquired. Kevin seemed a lot less social than Sara; he was so obsessed with learning anything Lilith could teach him and it was a pain to get him to leave with Sara. He wasn’t clingy or anything, he just knew that Lilith always had more that she could teach him about magic and science. He rarely talked with other mortals besides Sara; there just wasn’t any point in communicating with those lowly worms who thought being able to do basic math was a big deal.

“We talked a little bit on the trip back, yes.” Kevin cut in. Lilith had to be proud of him for at least making an effort. This disgusting creature knew very little about the world in which he was living and didn’t even have the slightest bit of curiosity about it, which, in his mind, was greatly offensive.

Alvin looked over at Kevin, mouth slightly open from surprise, “Why, yes, although I kind of felt as though Kevin really wasn’t as talkative as he is now. I will say that he seems quite obsessed with nature and science.”

Kevin glared at Alvin. He could not reveal the particulars of his tutelage under Lilith- the only teacher who could teach him everything he wanted to know and more, but at the same time he couldn’t bring himself to enjoy this scumbag’s company. Alvin had introduced himself to Kevin as a law school student, which was where their conversation had bitterly ended. Other than the fact that Alvin was twenty-two and still single, Kevin didn’t know or care to know anything more. This guy only cared about interacting with others and exploiting society’s rules.

Lilith told Kevin that she’d talk with him about being more polite to guests later and accompanied Alvin to the guest quarters which she had prepared for him. Lilith heard a slight crinkle as they were walking… she knew he was wearing a diaper. She felt as though she had to ask, but decided that she wouldn’t, since it had been many, many years since she had spoken to anyone other than Sara or Kevin. She knew she would have to talk with Sara about this, just in case it was going where she thought it was going. She came to a halt when they arrived at the door.

“Here is your room,” she told Alvin “and please, try to get along with Kevin. He’s been rather distant since his father passed a few years ago.”

“Oh, I had no idea. I’m so sorry if I caused any problems.” Alvin responded.

“Just keep in mind that everyone acts the way they do for a reason, and Kevin’s reasons are also pretty deep.” Lilith advised. Having said that, she shut the door behind Alvin. She returned to Kevin and Sara, who were waiting for her in the kitchen.

“Sara, why did you bring him over?” Lilith inquired. This guy could end up being a problem if he was going to drive a wedge between Kevin and Sara, which at this point seemed almost inevitable as long as he stayed.

“Mother, I just thought we could all use the company of someone that isn’t us. Kevin’s doesn’t have to be an ass about it though. He freaked him out with his chatter about science and when Alvin told him he was studying law he went silent and wouldn’t speak another word to him. I can’t keep letting him tag along with me if he’s going to chase everyone away.” Sara complained, it had obviously been a very long trip for her.

“Kevin, one of the reasons I send you two out is to interact with society. I wish I could too, but I’ve already told you both that I’m wanted and it just won’t work out for me, I want the two of you to at least have the opportunity to get out and meet new people. You need to let go of your prejudice of other people and learn to mingle, Kevin.” She counseled. “Now Sara, on that note, why, why, WHY did you bring him over? If he even gives a slightly detailed description of me and the fact that he’s on an island over something as simple as an email they’ll send someone over to investigate. I send you two into town a few times a month so you can mingle out there, but I can’t have you bringing people back here.”

“Mom, it’s very awkward when I bring friends back to the hotel room and Kevin’s there, reading books or staring at the wall. I’m all about learning too, but Kevin’s absolutely obsessed. I thought just having fun with new people would be good for all of us.” Sara explained.

“Sara, there’s something you need to know about your guest. He-” Lilith was cut off by the sound of the door to the guest room opening. Alvin had unpacked faster than she had anticipated.

“Am I interrupting anything?” asked Alvin, when no one responded he continued with “Good, does anyone want to go out on the beach? That water looked great.”

“Alvin! Yes! The beach sounds wonderful!” Sara exclaimed. She nudged Kevin and hissed, “Go get dressed! Mom can’t bail you out of every awkward situation you put us in.” Kevin looked at Lilith, who nodded. Her hearing was really exceptional, she could literally hear a pin drop in the room even if there was a ruckus.

Kevin left to go put on his swim shorts and Sara left to go get her bathing suit. Only Alvin and Lilith remained. “… So… Lilith… you’re awfully young to have mothered two young adults such as Kevin and Sara, don’t you think? Why, you don’t look a day over thirty.”

“Ahaha, you flatter me, Alvin. I’m actually forty-seven. People have often told me I look a lot younger than I really am. Why, when I was in second grade everyone thought I was still young enough to be wearing diapers.” Alvin shifted slightly upon hearing this, but kept quiet anyway. “The funny thing was that I never actually quit wearing them.” When Alvin looked at her in surprise she told him she was just kidding. “Well, you’d best go get ready too. I tell you, my kids are pretty wild when they’re out on the beach.” Alvin retreated back to his room.

Lilith had anticipated that their day at the beach would go as it had: Kevin would just go swimming and Sara and Alvin would tan for a bit before goofing around in the water. While she knew it wouldn’t be very good for her if Sara got into a relationship with anyone, she felt good about her gain, so decided to let her keep her friend over for the time being. She felt terrible about having to keep Sara and Kevin there with her all the time, but with the government trying to track her whereabouts, Lilith knew she needed a lot of assistants and even a few other witches on her side. Since she wasn’t making very much noise the hunt for her wasn’t as crazy as it had been years ago, but if she were sighted she would be hunted, simple as that.

For dinner they had salmon since fish was the typical catch of the day. They all discussed what they wanted to get into. Kevin’s story was that he wanted to be a nuclear engineer, Sara told the group that she wanted to be a model, and Alvin repeated that he was going to law school. Lilith told them she was probably going to stay on the island for a few more years since it was so peaceful there.

“Sara, why don’t you entertain Alvin while Kevin and I play a game of chess?” Lilith suggested. She knew Kevin wanted to talk about the next few lessons he wanted to have, but could not, given present company.

Sara and Alvin went to his room while Lilith talked with Kevin. “Kevin, you know we can’t very well do lessons while we have company over. The noise would just attract too much attention. Give him till tomorrow to leave and then we should be able to get back to those.”

“Mother, can’t we make him leave tonight? He’s tainting Sara and she’s not so interested in learning about our world as she used to be.” Kevin whined.

“Kevin, that’s the way it’s supposed to be. Everyone needs to seek company of other people every now and then. The two of you are no different. I have no doubt that Sara’s still interested in learning the things she can, but it is very lonely here on this island, so it’s only natural that she would want to meet new people.” They were interrupted by the opening of the guest room door. Sara walked out with Alvin following behind.

“Mom, get this shit off the island,” Sara snapped. “He lied to me and I don’t take too kindly to that.”

“I didn’t lie, I just didn’t tell you everything, come on, honey!”

“Well, you definitely could have told me that yesterday at least… at the very least before I was starting to get excited.” She growled.

“Ah, yes, I should have told you about Alvin earlier, huh?”

“YOU knew, Mother?”

“I didn’t want to ruin your mood, sweetie, but you don’t need to hate him for it, it’s hard enough to be honest to yourself about that when it comes down to it.”

“Look, I know I probably should have been a bit more open about it before coming over, but it’s something I’ve kept secret my whole life and it was very difficult to come out and say it in the first place.”

“Sara, Kevin, you both need to leave Alvin and me alone for a while, alright?” Lilith said.

“Yes, mom” They both said in unison as they left. Lilith turned her attention to Alvin.

“So… I wasn’t just hearing things as we were walking in, was I?” Lilith asked.

“No, I really was wearing a diaper.” Alvin looked down as he said this. It was quite embarrassing for him to admit to Sara, much more to Lilith, who had apparently known all along.

“I bet you’ve never had a chance to even age-play, have you?” Lilith inquired. She knew he probably wouldn’t have waited until Sara wanted to have sex with him for the first time to bring it up if he had participated before.

“No ma’am, I haven’t.” Alvin was still looking down.

“Well, since you really upset my daughter tonight and I imagine you’re probably pretty upset yourself, I’ll do you a favor and get rid of that problem for you, after all, it takes one to know one, doesn’t it?” She winked at him.

“Y-y-yes, of course,” said Alvin, turning a deep shade of red. “I’ll go get ready right now.”

Lilith went to Sara’s room, where they both were in order to explain the situation. “Sara, Kevin, listen closely. I’m regressing Alvin tonight. I love you both, but this guy is just too good to pass up for this and I need more assistants to aid in spell casting. The two of you can even help me teach him.” She told them, waiting patiently for their reactions.

“Mother, I don’t want anything more to do with him, but whatever you say.” replied Sara. Kevin seemed somewhat entertained by the idea of having someone directly under him in terms of learning the ways of a witch’s assistant. These responses were more or less what Lilith had planned on receiving. She left them and proceeded to Alvin’s room, where she found him, ready to be entertained.

“Oh, someone smells messy already, doesn’t he?” Lilith exclaimed as she rubbed Alvin’s bare belly. Alvin giggled, kicking his legs in the air as he did so. “Now before I change little Alvee’s didee, I need to make an adjustment, you’re just too big for me.” Since Lilith was still cooing him, Alvin couldn’t snap out of his self-induced mental regression to realize the significance of what Lilith was talking about. This was going to make the regression even easier, what with his mind being voluntarily regressed and unable to ward off her spell.

As Lilith continued to rub his stomach, her hand started to seem bigger and bigger to Alvin, as did the rest of the room the room seemed to swirl around Alvin as Lilith rubbed his tummy harder and faster, it almost hurt, but Alvin didn’t want snap out of his blissfulness yet, Lilith kept on rubbing Alvin’s stomach until her hand was bigger than it. By the time Alvin registered that something was different about his surroundings, it was too late, he had already fully regressed to infancy. He looked at Lilith in surprise, desiring an explanation for everything.

“Alvin, I am a witch. I didn’t mind that you are an infantilist, but that is why you are currently in this situation. I am at war with the government and I need as many assistants to aid my magic as I can get. While I will have to regress your mind as well so I can truly start with a clean slate, you may at least enjoy the rest of the night in your new state.” Alvin cooed in approval. This woman was letting him be regressed, something he had always wanted.

After finally changing his diaper, Lilith spent a few hours playing with Alvin. Lilith produced a teddy bear which they played with. She waved it around in the air and he laughed at it as it got closer and closer and... "Oh, teddy’s got your nose!". Lilith crawled around with him on the floor, laughing at him as he put his head down between his arms and looked up at her and laughed. Finally, Lilith read him Cat in the Hat before bedtime. Alvin was truly grateful to Lilith, who had given him something that no one else would ever give him back then or ever again. As Lilith put Alvin to bed in a crib she had conjured up, she told him that all his memories of his life would be gone by morning and then he would just be an empty slate for her to use in her fight against the coven, but she would take very good care of him. Alvin was very happy and sleepy. Upon hearing all that Lilith had to say, he fell asleep. She put his teddy bear in with him. The next morning he truly would have no memories of his former life, not that he could very much mind that, being a baby, as he was.
