Chapter 5
Conclusion

Next morning came and Oliver awoke, looking around his crib. He knew where he was, but there was something about his loneliness that made him uneasy. He knew there was someone to care for him, but he didn’t know where she was. He became increasingly worried, and was soon crying. After a few minutes of a sob, Debbie came in, looking more pleased to see him than ever. She changed him up and brought him to the living room where Tim was back at his video games.

”Can I pway?”

”Robby said you weren’t old enough.” Tim baited.

“But I wanna pway!” Oliver said, and he lunged in an attempt to grab the controller.

Tim immediately erupted.

”Mom! Oliver’s being annoying again!”

”Oliver that’s not yours, it’s only for big kids. It’s time for breakfast anyway.” She scolded, them picked him up and took him to the table.

“I’m sowwy.” Oliver replied, reviewing his first outburst. Must just be tired. They eat their meal and Debbie took Oliver in the room to change him. She got him dressed and met Tim at the front door.

“Where we going momm... Debbie?” He looked at himself quizzically after the comment.

”Oh you’re staying with Robby and his mommy today.” She said, trying to get enthusiasm out of Oliver, but he was still a little frustrated at the thought of being tormented by someone else all day. His mind was quickly swayed when she explained all the wonderful toys they would have and what they would do.

She took the boys down the hall and knocked on the door. After being greeted by Robby’s mom the boys were ushered and greeted Robby watching TV.

The last thing Oliver remembers was the casual conversation between Robby’s mom and Debbie.

”He doesn’t take cream in his coffee,” she said, instantly receiving a knowing look from Robby’s mom.

“Who would have thought? I put the mental regressant in Robert’s coffee, but then again, we’d been married ten years so I knew what he took in his coffee. Oh well, at least everything worked out for the best. When should I see changes?”

”Well, I’ve noticed some already, we gave him a heavy dose in his bottle last night. I’d give it to the end of the day before he’s pretty out of it. Tomorrow for sure. It’ll be great having a real little guy around. I wasn’t planning on Tim, but, the more the merrier I guess!”

They laughed and said their goodbyes. Oliver had no idea the impending doom his mind was about to suffer. Soon, his adult mind would be a distant memory.

Robby’s mom came over and lowered a bottle of juice for the young toddler. Less begrudgingly than the previous night he accepted, accepted one of many bottles to come as they made way as a new family.
