Chapter Description: The effects of the AR Virus are nothing if not thorough and capricious. It seldom happens that family or friends are affected, but it does. For the Evers family of Boise, it was even multi-generational, leading to a most interesting household when they moved to ARVInn.

The Evers ‘boys’: Frank, Ben, Mark, Boise, ID, 20781
Since the effect of the AR Virus
is genetic, and the mutations which allow it are so unstable, it is unusual to
see multiple, closely-related, members of the same family affected. It does happen, perhaps once in thousands of
cases, however.
In the case of the Evers family of Boise, ID, the effect was multigenerational. Three generations of the family were affected. Interestingly enough, they were not all the same variation. Ben (7/1987), the family patriarch; his younger son, Frank (12/2019); and Mark (5/2041), son of Ben’s older son, Joe (b2012), were affected as the result of three different mutations. Their joint story is a fascinating exploration of family dynamics and the value of determination.
