In the not so distant future, Stan and Maria Lockney are expecting the birth of their daughter Emily. Their anticipation turns to shock when their doctor discovers something concerning only the bone marrow transplant of a donor of fitting age and genetics can cure. To become the perfect bone marrow donor for his newborn daughter, Stan let himself regress into a newborn and change his very DNA to become Emily's twin. With Stan under the name of Dylan now having a place in the maternity ward routine settles in for all. But is it a routine the regressed man really can adapt to? Can his wife adapt to now take care of him and their daughter Emily? Good robot nurses are there to help taking care of newborns, but can they adapt to one of their charges also being an adult, or will this contradiction lead them to make a grave reassessment?
