Caught in the Middle

Now Andrea’s father, John, is needless to say, a very important and busy man. Who wouldnt be running his own company, right? A little bit about him though, he stands 5 ft 10 inches and has a medium build, although his arms are pretty muscular.

In everyone’s life you have friends and enemies, such it was with John and Andrea.

Hunter was John’s good friend but secretly his worst enemy. Hunter, a 32 year old up and coming businessman who was capable of practically anything. He had in the past taken over 2 companies which he now owned. The scary part to this story is that Hunter was now eyeballing John’s company! With a takeover of JMC, Inc. Hunter would become a millionare many times over. Unfortunately money cant always buy happiness and Hunter was learning this life lesson fast.

Hunter and his wife Stephanie had been trying to have a child for sometime with no luck. Frustration was setting in and it was driving the couple apart. Stephanie had fallen in love with Hunter when they were teens, long before he had any money to his name. His 6ft 1’ muscular athletic build made Stephanie weak in the knees. Being only 5 ft 2’, she was quite petite and loved to wrap up in his arms like a child being held by their parent. They were happy together and Stephanie knew that even though they had issues, there was no way she would ever leave him. Hunter gave her everything she could ever need except one thing, a child. Being a teacher, she worked closely with children, not that she needed to work, but it occupied her time and kept her close to that which she wanted the most.

Now lets not forget about who this story is really about! Back to Andrea! Andrea and Stephanie were good friends, you could say that they had a Paris/ Nicole relationship. Stephanie was Andrea’s sidekick pretty much and yes she hated it and envied her for all she had and could have if desired. Andrea had even been pregnant soon after graduating from college but she chose to abort the baby because she felt it wasnt meant to be a part of her life at the time. For the most part Andrea was a happy person but the one mistake she made was telling her secret wants and wishes to her best friend. But how was she to know right?

There was a day when the two women were sitting out in the backyard of Andrea’s father’s mansion and sipping drinks by the pool. A conversation came up about Stephanie and Hunter trying to concieve a child. After a while of Stephanie telling her story, she was interrupted by Andrea who proceeded to say how much she enjoyed her life but would have loved to have a closer relationship with her mother growing up. Andrea’s mother had passed on about a year prior too and even before that she was never one to be held down with a child. She was a trophy wife then and probably still would be had that bus not hit her while not paying attention when she was on her blackberry setting an appt for a manicure the next day.

As Andrea continued to divulge her story, Stephanie was crying inside. How could someone be so cold? She aborted a baby herself and instead couldve given it to a couple who wouldve loved it and now she was talking about how she wishes she could have had more time with her mother and a closer relationhip!? She had enough! Stephanie stood up and yelled at Andrea, " One day I hope you get your just desserts." With that she stormed off and drove home in tears.

The only thing Stephanie wasnt able to get so far in ife was the one thing that Andrea took for granted. Thinking she could do to whomever whatever she pleased even her own child! A baby who couldve known the love of a family but now would never even know the light of day.

Upon walking inthe door, Hunter looked up form the sofa where he laid reading the paper. He jumped up and rushed over to Stephanie to embrace her and kiss her tear streaked face. She explained what happened and with great intigue Hunter listened. When Stephanie reached the part where Andrea had spoken of having a better relationship with her mother and wishing to go back to change that, his wheels in his brain started to turn. A plot formed in his mind that would give the couple everything they ever wanted.

It would even kill two birds with one stone....
