The Day of Discovery

Chapter Description: Lucy Ann pulled her BMW M Roadster into her driveway just as her Iphone rang. Tapping the bluetooth device hanging off her ear she took the call. “Miss Ann, I called you to tell you I need more time to test my drug. I don’t understand why it is not working on humans, just yet. ” A male voice said sounding very nervous. It was the voice of Doctor Andy Markus a man who made a amazing discovery just months ago.

Lucy Ann pulled her BMW M Roadster into her driveway just as her Iphone rang. Tapping the bluetooth device hanging off her ear she took the call.

“Miss Ann, I called you to tell you I need more time to test my drug. I don’t understand why it is not working on humans, just yet. ” A male voice said sounding very nervous. It was the voice of Doctor Andy Markus a man who made a amazing discovery just months ago.

“Look Doctor Markus, you promised me a fountain of youth in a bottle. I have been taking those pills myself and not one of my wrinkles as smoothed itself out. ” Miss Ann said getting out of her car and seeing her elderly neighbor coming toward her.

“I’m just not comfortable testing on my drug on human beings this early. You know my drug works because you have seen the monkeys regressed for yourself. ” Doctor Markus said his voice gaining strength.

“Markus, they are hardly human beings. Every one of them is a murderer, raper, and other things I don’t even care to think about. Besides they volunteered for the medical experiment. Most of them we pulled off death row because they wouldn’t be missed, if something went wrong. ” Lucy explained if she was speaking to a child.

“The dosages we are giving them are too high. If just one of my drug batches works most of them won’t survive the regression phase. We will be lucky if a few of them end up as newborns. In fact you shouldn’t take so much of the drug yourself. I don’t understand it myself, but the amount you have taken should have made you an infant by now. ” Doctor Markus said his voice taking a very concern tone.

“Clearly, I’m not waddling around in diapers so get back to work Andy. ” Lucy said tired of his excuses and delaying tactics.

“Yes, Miss Ann. ” Doctor Markus said knowing that tone and ended the call.

“Lucy, I wanted to talk to you about that tree in your back yard. The branches are growing over my garden again and my plants can’t get enough sunlight. ” The elderly voice of Maria Hills said finally coming within earshot.

‘God, I will be glad when that regression drug finally works. I will enjoy cleaning out the life savings of nagging old timers like this woman. ’ Lucy thought trying to picture Maria as a young woman, but it was hard to see her young.

“Yes, Miss Hills I will talk to my gardener first thing in the morning. ” Lucy responded back a bit loudly.

“What gardener? You fired the last one days ago before he could trim that tree. ” Miss Hills replied back looking a bit cross with the woman. Lucy had always treated her like a forgetful child.

“I didn’t tell you. I hired a new one and he will start tomorrow afternoon. ” Lucy lied quickly and made a mental note to call one sometime later. Lucy was already walking away toward her house not eager to continue the conversation.

“Well, Good. ” Miss Hills said and wanted til the other was out of sight before she just shook her head in disgust. Maria couldn’t be sure, but it sounded like another lie from the woman.

Safely inside Lucy let out a breath of air and kicked off her heels.

‘Why am I surrounded by fools and idiots? ’ Lucy thought and looked at herself in the hallway mirror.

For a woman in her forties she look pretty good, but there around her eyes the wrinkles were coming in and her hair had a few grey strains in it. The early signs of aging were a result of having a very stressful job as executive head of research.

As always Lucy looked down at her body. Despite the rumors she didn’t sleep her way to the top all the time, but she did bed a few men and one woman to get there. Once she had a body that left the guys drooling and other woman jealous with envy.

Now her tits sagged a little and even with her diet there was fabbiness to her she didn’t care for.

“I will look like Maria before that idiot Doctor can figure out why his drug won’t work on humans. ” Lucy said in a harsh whisper of scorn.

Lucy felt that dread of growing old and reached into her purse for the bottle. The plastic bottle was disguised as a bottle of Advil, but according to the Doctor it was his so called regression pills within. She studied the bottle and set it down hard on the table beside the door. It wobbled then rolled off the table. Lucy didn’t bother with picking it up just yet.

Every few days she took some pills increasing the dosage just a little each time. Andy had warned her repeatedly not too, but dammit they weren’t working in those small dosages. Lucy silently debated in her head.

‘Oh Hell, left my Iphone in the car. ’ Lucy thought and decided it could wait until after her hour soak in her custom made Jacuzzi.

During her soak the cell phone did ring again and Lucy didn’t hear her bluetooth chirp as it sat on its charger in her bedroom. Lucy’s favorite song was playing loudly on her wall mounted stereo and the bathroom door was firmly shut.

Inside her car the call went to her voice mail. Doctor Markus voice was excited and coming out in a rush.

“Miss Ann, It just happened. The prison bus blew a tire and scared the hell out of the inmates. All the inmates on our drug started regressing right after the incident. I don’t know why I didn’t see it before, but the drug must be triggered by a certain level of fear. Most of the inmates didn’t make it and those who did are now in the prenatal wards in the local hospitals in the area. It makes sense to me now why it didn’t work on the animals. All the lab animals we had were scared when they were injected. Look whatever you do don’t take anymore pills. The amount of drug you have stored in your body is enough to make you into a infant at this point. I’m coming over with some of our people over to you now with the antidote so stay calm and relex. ” The doctor said and the voice mail saved the audio message.

Inside the house Lucy Ann arose from her soaking. Dripping wet and not caring she stood in front of her sink mirror.

It was large and tilted at just the right down angle that it showed her wet nude body.

‘Even with my hair pulled back I look old. ’ Lucy thought and ran her hands over her body. Her breasts were baggy and the love handles on her sides didn’t help her sexual appeal much.

“I will be a bag of bones with skin hanging in folds one day. ” Lucy said to herself and pictured herself as a much older woman. The fear of truly growing old surged through her mind and she felt something change inside her on a physical level.

‘What the Hell was that? ’ Lucy asked herself in her thoughts.

Leaning into her reflection more she noticed the crow’s feet around her eyes were gone.

“Damn, him. I’m going crazy now. ” Lucy said closed her eyes for a minute and feeling like the sink was getting higher.

When Lucy opened her eyes again the woman staring back at her was younger. Maybe a good ten years younger with breasts that didn’t sagged down so much.

Better yet her love handles were gone and they must of melted away back into her body giving her womanly curves back.

‘I’m finally getting younger. ’ Lucy thought and started to admire herself now.

Lucy watched in the mirror as the years rolled back.

She was at her zeanith of sexual attractiveness now as her body reached its mid twenties again.

‘I can the date college boys and they won’t be calling me a cougar. ’ Lucy thought and started to make sexy poses. Each one with her chest sticking out more then necessary or her legs turned in such a way that it almost gave you a peak at her privates.

‘Okay, I’m getting too young now. ’ Lucy said as her body reached twenty one years old and kept getting younger.

Then it occurred to Lucy during her joy at becoming young she had forgot she been taking increased levels of the drug. Then one of the conversations she had with the Doctor Markus came back to her. He had said something like accumulated amount of drug in her body was too high. If they did found the trigger to get the drug working she would have to wait for the drug to leave her body unless she wanted to be in diapers. Somehow her own body had triggered the drug.

‘I need to get help. He has a working antidote. I have seen it work on those dirty monkeys. ’ Lucy thought and not bothering to dress since dressing would slow her down as she got younger.

Lucy was in her late teens now when she reached the front door and picked up the bottle of regression pills along the way. It wouldn’t due to leave the pills around for anyone to find now they were worth so much. Lucy opened the front door then went through the doorway closing the door behind her not realizing she would lock herself out.

Lucy ran for the car first to grab her Iphone so she could call Doctor Markus for help and Lucy groaned when her car alarm went off. There on the passenger seat was her Iphone, but the car was locked with the windows up.

Lucy ran back to the front door and discovered she had locked herself out of her own house.

Reasoning it out quickly all she needed was someone who could get help or call the doctor for the antidote. ‘I will get Maria Hills. The old bag was heading for that damn garden of hers and I just bribe her with these pills. ’ Lucy thought now embarrassed as she would have appear naked before the woman.

There wasn’t time to debate any modesty issue with herself.

Feeling she was extremely exposed now Lucy ran for the side gate that would lead her over to Maria’s backyard.

“Miss Hills! ” Lucy called hearing her own voice and surprised by it. Her voice had that annoying perky tone teenage girls seemed to have.

Miss Hills was bent over a vegetable row in her garden and looking up she saw a naked teenage girl running toward her.

Shocked at first she almost didn’t notice that the girl appeared to be getting shorter as she ran. Maria then noticed with each passing step the girl’s breasts didn’t bounce as much as before. Maria thought her eyes were playing a trick on her, but the girl was shrinking as she came toward her.

As impossible as it seem the girl’s breasts were shrinking away into smaller cup sizes. It was a incredible thing to witness and now she was aware what was happening to this poor girl she looked at the girl’s privates. The crazy thought this girl was getting younger finally came to Maria.

It was hard to tell from a distance, but Maria bet her house the hairs down there were vanishing away too. By the time Lucy Ann was standing before Miss Hills she had the body of a fourteen year old girl.

“Miss Hills, it’s me Lucy Ann from next door. My company made these pills that can make you young again and you can see I had a few too many. You have to contact Doctor Andy Markus for an antidote so he can give it to me. I have his number on my cell phone. It’s in my locked car so just break my window for the phone. I will give these pills in payment for your help. You can be years younger if you are more careful then me not to take as many as I did. ” Lucy blurted out and she had to take a deep breath of air.

Lucy was trying to cover her naked body with her free hand and not doing a great job at it. Her other hand held out the bottle of pills for Maria to take.

“Come inside, dear. We can call him on my house phone. ” Maria said taking the offered bottle without really thinking about it. Out of habit she slipped it into her apron pocket.

“I didn’t bother remembering his number. ” Lucy wailed as her body change dramatically.

Lucy’s large and proud breasts shrank into the early stages of her development becoming cone shape then dwindling into budding breasts that only would have jiggled a little if she were to jump up and down.

“No, no. no. no. no.” Lucy said and openly cried as her body retreated back into a child’s body of a girl who hadn’t reached puberty yet.

Looking down Lucy saw she was hairless now and her private area had taken a different shape as well.

“I got you, dear. ” Maria said reminded of her baby granddaughter and how she would wail like a banshee.

Lucy was surprised she went into the bosom of Miss Hills without thinking about it. Her own mother was dead and gone. At that point she did want someone to hold her.

Sitting on the dirt pack ground Lucy was being cradle in Maria’s arms as she got younger. She was sobbing wildly and mumbling something about her Iphone.

Maria was making comforting noises and assumed the woman was talking about getting her cell phone again.

By the time Lucy got a hold of her emotions she was really a little girl now about the age of six with wide gap baby teeth showing. Looking up at Maria Hill she appeared to be a giant from her point of view and knew the woman would only get bigger as she got younger.

“Plewase we haveth to call the doctor. ” Lucy said with a lisp due to her teeth getting smaller.

“Calm down. You know you are a pretty little girl at this age. ” Maria said not wanting Lucy to get into another fit of sobbing.

“My Iphone, Miss Hills. I weed it. ” Lucy said as baby fat seemed to over take Lucy’s body. Within seconds Maria was now holding a toddler nearly inside her lap.

“Shhh. Old Maria has you. If you keep going you will be my granddaughter’s age pretty soon. Lucky for you I have a playpen, crib, and baby supplies inside the house for their rare visits. ” Maria said and started to rock Lucy gentling in her arms.

Lucy attempted to struggle free, but with each passing second it became a futile effort.

Lucy’s regression finally halted after she got too young to talk and crawl on all fours.

Lucy quickly discovered all she could do was make funny noises with her mouth and squirm in Maria’s lap.

“Well Lucy, looks like you stop getting younger, thank Jesus. You can’t be more then a few months old now. ” Maria said and an idea occurred to her at this point.

“These pills of yours. I take it your company doesn’t have any plans on giving these away or making them cheap. How many people will have to clean out their life savings just to get their youth back I wonder? ” Maria said taking out the bottle of regression pills and studying it.

The baby that was Lucy Ann in her lap went still and stared up in horror if fearing the old woman would force feed her more pills.

“No Lucy Ann. I don’t think I will be calling that doctor friend of yours. You were a greedy woman before all this and I can’t stop your company from going against the natural order of things. So I just go with the flow as you young people are fond of saying. ” Maria said and popped the bottle open then took a few of the pills.

Maria then felt the fear that maybe she taken too many. Would somone find two babies out here?

Maria felt the change take place and her body did get younger. She went from old age to a woman in her mid thirties.

Judging from her smooth skin hands and what she could feel on her face she was a young woman again. All the dull aches in her joints were gone and her breasts she was sure were not wrinkled bags anymore. Maria felt wonderful with a body free of all pain of old age.

Thankfully the process had stopped and Maria berated herself harshly she would have to be more careful with these pills. Putting the cap back on the bottle she slipped the pills back into her apron pocket for later use.

Lucy then peed onto her dress and Maria could only chuckle at that.

“Naughty little baby girl for peeing on mommy’s dress. How about mommy puts you over here to dry out?” Maria said in a light humorous tone and decided to put Lucy in a patch of sunlight within her arm’s reach.

Maria looked up at the tree that gave her shade, but was slowly blotting out the sun her plants needed.

“You know since I’m young again you can forget about that tree. I will be moving away and I think I will move into my daughter’s neighborhood. I can look after my family in secret and we can raise our daughters together. ” Maria said and she heard Lucy making a fussy noise only a baby could make at a very young age.

“There, there. baby. You just go to sleep in that warm sunlight and mommy will take you into the bathroom shower with her later on. ” Maria said adjusting her dress so it would fit better on her. It would be a while before Maria could get use to being so busty again.

Lucy wore herself out trying to get her tiny body to roll over and then crawl away. To her horror she couldn’t even lift up her body with her legs. Surrendering to the life of an infant Lucy closed her eyes and fell quickly asleep.

During her first few minutes she put her thumb in her mouth to suck on it for comfort then she held it there while she slept.

Maria went back to her gardening with more energy then she wouldn’t have dared to dream of before this day.

Some time later in front of Miss Ann’s house a white van pulled up with the words “Medical Transport” in black simple letters.

Six people came out of the van including the driver. They walked quickly up to the house and knocked then rang the bell several times.

The driver; an older man of the group motioned for another man by pointing to the door lock. A second later the younger man bent down and picked the lock of the door.

Nearly all of them were inside within seconds furiously searching the house. The same guy who picked the lock on the door went over to the car after finding the car keys on a table next to the front door. When a pile of woman’s clothes was found in the bathroom next to the Jacuzzi they called out for the others to join them.

The way they stood over the empty clothes gave the impression they were standing over a dead body.

“Found her phone in the car. I’m sorry doctor, but it looks like she didn’t get your message in time. ” The young man said holding the phone up to show that a new voice mail message was waiting to be heard.

“I told her several times not to use so much of my drug. There was always the off chance something would finally trigger it. ” Doctor Andy Markus said in a sad tone. The woman who had been his boss had treated him badly, but damn it she was a human being after all.

‘No one deserved to die that way. It is a shame I didn’t have her home phone number. ’ Andy thought and looked over the clothes and the recently used Jacuzzi.

“You think she regressed back into a egg and sperm in the tub? ” One woman asked wondering of what remain of Lucy Ann was floating down some sewer somewhere. The very idea of it made her shiver with fright.

“Yes, most likely. I think she undressed and maybe slipped while climbing either in or out of the tub a little causing enough fear for the drug to take effect. You understand none of this information on this tragic accident can be known by the public. Its bad enough we lost so many of our test subjects. As promised by myself you will have stocks in the company for your silence. ” Doctor Markus said and everyone else slowly nodded in unison.

“Okay team. Clean the house as you go and bag anything relating to our company. Leave nothing behind that can lead anyone back to us. ” Doctor Markus said a moment later and watched as they went to work.

The house would soon be stripped clean and the company would sell it off to someone else. Lucy Ann’s last known records would show she was promoted then died in a tragic car accident somewhere out of state in a rental car.

Her body cremated per her last will and then scattered into the ocean.

Andy took a moment to go outside and walk around the backyard for a breath of fresh air.

When he spotted a woman in her mid thirties doing some gardening he went over to the fence to talk with her.

“Good Evening. ” Andy said in greeting.

“Same to you, sir. Are you a friend of Lucy’s? ” Maria asked and kept the nervousness out of her voice. Maria did speak in a low voice and when Andy looked at her with a puzzled look she pointed to a spot next to her.

Andy then saw the naked spread eagle baby girl with her thumb in her mouth fast asleep.

“I work for her. She just got promoted so we are moving her stuff to her new assigned home. ” Andy said in answer to the woman’s question.

“I’m Maria and this is my daughter Lucinda. ” Maria replied wishing she thought of a better name for Lucy, but he only nodded accepting her at face value.

“My name is Andy, well it was nice to meet you. ” Andy said and walked away to help the team load up the van.

Lucy Ann’s personal belongings were taken away in plastic bags and boxes.

The next morning a moving van arrived and cleaned out all of the furniture while Maria with Lucinda in her arms watched from a window.

Wearing only a diaper Lucy could only watched as the company she worked for so many years hide all evidence she ever existed.

Maria had a fussy baby for a week after then all of sudden Lucy seemed to accept her fate. Now she only cried if she really needed something or wanted her new mother to hold her.

Lucy had felt her mind slipping somewhere on the sixth day and when the morning dawned on the seventh day she no longered cared she was a baby. Lucy even accepted her new name.

Not long after they moved so Maria could lived closer to her adult daughter just as news of the regression drug had been announced on every major news station world wide.

Maria had a hunch before hand that a certain company stock was going to skyrocket so she invested all she had into it.

Maria had made a fortune of course. She had taken more of the regression pills and ended up in her early twenties with enough power of wealth to buy a new life.

Her first daughter and her family were unaware she lived right across the street from them. Maria had hired out lawyers to make it appear she had passed away due to a stroke. Lucky for her first daughter she left them a fortune in her will so they were set for life with a limited budget they could spend every month.

Maria changed her name only a little to Marie West so her daughter wouldn’t suspect anything.

Maria would be her family’s secret guardian and thanks to her wealth could buy her own supply of regression pills. She could do it for generations to come.

Lucinda could still remember her old life and when she got old enough to talk again her mother discussed it with her. Much to Maria’s surprise Lucinda like being her daughter now.

Maria had always feared the day would come when Lucinda would reveal her true idenity to a teacher or a cop, but she loved Maria like a mother and only got a little upset at the very thought that her new mother didn’t want her anymore.

Maria had to comfort her and told her she be around for a long time to come.
