Chapter Description: Onward, noble adventurers, for the loot!
Onward to adventure
And probably glorious loot
Onward!
Picture the scene if you will, four noble adventurers on a quest to secure as much loot as possible and make a profit from it. Their adventure is not one based on greed though, no, more like a desire to just see what's out there in a dangerous world.
They have already faced the Giants Of Tordo and defeated them, they took on the Dragons Of Hiiaki and made them crash and burn. They have faced armies aplenty and won with relative ease, the loot they have secured will make them rich but again it is not the pursuit of wealth that is driving them, it is the pursuit of adventure and seeing what there is to loot for the sake of it.
Wealth means little to those with a lust for adventure.
Here they are now, a mage named Viafia who's spells have been an asset many times in their quest, although she is a woman of few words her skills with the magical arts are formidable.
A dwarven warrior named Basio who's skills with whatever weapon he can get his hands on are unmatched in battle, his courage is stuff of legend.
An elf named Timmer with speed and grace who's speed makes him so fast that he could be considered a blur in battle, never able to be caught.
And a human archer named Niamera who, along with her beauty, has a gift with the bow. Her pinpoint accuracy being invaluable in times of need.
These four adventurers have a strong friendship that cannot be broken, only strengthened more than it already is. As a team they are feared by their enemies and admired by the lives they help, they are legends in their own right.
Unbeaten, unmatched, fearless.
Today they encounter a new foe, a powerful beast that should be no problem for them.
“The beast nears!” Timmer calls out, it was a truly ferocious creature. It's fur almost like fire, it's eyes ablaze with intended violence towards the adventurers. It's size, under a foot in height, did not reduce it's ferocity.
“I'll kill it with a blow from me axe!” Basio roars as he charges, the beast eludes him though before it turns to Timmer and runs towards him. Timmer goes into a defensive stance but it proves to be for naught as the creatures spews fire from it's mouth, reducing Timmer to ashes in seconds.
Basio gives out a high pitched scream of horror and, completely out of character, runs away screaming. The creature catches up with him and snaps his neck with ease with it's tail, the sound loud enough to be heard by the others.
Viafia attempts to summon a spell only to shrink into her clothing as something goes wrong, leaving behind a baby girl in a pile of clothing. The creature doesn't bother with her and instead goes for Niamera who tries, unsuccessfully, to hit with arrow after arrow while trying to defend Viafia who can do nothing but cry as her adult mind melts away.
“Back, foul beast! Back!” She cries out but the creature ignores her words. Finding her quiver empty, she resorts to her daggers only to find that they've been transformed. One is a baby rattle while the other is a teething ring, her bow has been reduced to a toy version of itself and she can feel a thickness developing between her legs as a thick nappy appears.
Viafia's spell was having it's effect on her as well.
“Alright,
enough, stop here!” She calls out as she slips into her teen
years, the world fades away.

“Are you bored or something? You just killed two of us and reduced the rest of us to infants or were you going to turn me into a toddler?” The world of Gerandia is now reduced to a beautifully made tabletop display with a board behind it where a woman with a set of books, papers and dice is looking a little embarrassed at what she just made happen to her friends.
“Sorry, I was just thinking about my nieces and how cute they were when I saw them earlier. I can still see the eldest in her nappy and t-shirt trying to learn how to use the toy bow and arrow I gave her while her little sister was watching close by, sucking on a teeth ring with her rattle on her lap. Just so bloody cute and left me feeling right broody. Guess it ended up translating to the game” Timothy and Barry are still looking a little pale at what had happened to their characters, such brutal deaths while Violent is, in her non-communicative way since her vocal cords had been damaged when she was younger so she couldn't speak too well and usually preferred to just stick to sign language or her tablet's Word program for speech, is going through her notes to see what went wrong.
“You pitted us against a fire breathing, very fast squirrel that we couldn't fight. Why did you kill Timothy and Barry's characters?” It had been pretty sudden when that roll have appeared for both of them.
“Guess I got a little carried away there, sorry. I did say that I'm not too good at this yet, you've always been the game master before. I'm still learning” Nadia signs, maybe this hadn't been a good idea. She had wanted to make her own character after years of being the game master, she hadn't expected Donna to get so broody on her first time as game master.
“Guess we'll have to restart then, can't very well leave Timmer and Basio dead, nor both my character and Viafia as babies. Try to focus though, don't let personal feelings become part of the game” Checking the time on her mobile first, she notes that it's a tad late.
“Guess it will have to wait until later though, it's almost nine and we've all got work in the morning” Everyone agrees there, it could wait.
~
The adventurers head out again, their quest to find as much loot as possible. Except there's a problem with their gear.
“Not again” Niamera remarks as she finds her clothing has become infantile again, her weapons are safe enough although she has a baby rattle now while Viafia is looking a little shorter than usual, Timmer and Basio are also looking a little infantile in the clothing department.
“Oh sod it, we can probably work this”
“Sorry! They're just so cute!”
Onward, noble adventurers, and bring plenty of supplies, you'll need them.
