Chapter 1
Complete Interview

Greeting readers, welcome to one of a series of interviews with authors/Members of the ar community. This week I managed to catch up with web host Heidegger and ask him a few questions.

Hi Heidegger, Can you tell me firstly how you grew an interest in age regression? Was it lead from a number of other fascinations or just the whole idea of getting young

I was first conscious of the idea of age regression when I was 5 or 6. I noticed the difference in height and how people were treated because they were older than me. I imagined that it would be different if they were my age.

Then I saw shows like Bewitched and cartoons that had AR themes and really liked them.

I can relate to that, Is this a topic you stick to just mainly the internet or are you quite open out in the say. *real world*?

Very few people that don’t know me through the Archive know about my involvement with the Archive. My wife and a couple of close friends know.

As a member of the website I know from personal experience it could really be taken in the wrong way. Do you think it’s a more popular subject now then when you first started the site back in 97?

.Yes, it is definitely more popular. There are over 4,500 unique visitors to the Archive every week. It is ranked in the top 450,000 websites on the internet by one of the major ranking organizations. Trustgauge.

They show 1,700 links pointing to the site, so somebody likes it

Outstanding, Can you tell the readers, how much work you put into running the website?

As far as actually running the website, unless something has gone wrong (like the image galleries problem a week or two ago) it takes very little "work".

Mostly, I help out people who have problems posting their stories or images.

You’re an author yourself. With stories such as "Christmas cookies" and "the other side of the coin" any writers who have inspired you?

Mark Van Sciver, Copernicus and Posti on the TSA list first inspired me to write AR stories. As time went on, Louder and Dreamtales also inspired me (along with so many others who I can’t list on short notice)

The two stories you noted - one was for the TSA Christmas story exchange and the other was written for Mark Van Sciver’s birthday

You have been running Bojay Premiums service for a fair few months now. This is a monthly subscription. What inspired you to add this to the site?

2 things - First, just like so many other people, I wanted to see more of BoJay’s work. Second, I have wanted to find a way to compensate writers and artists who contribute to the Archive so more good stories get written and cool artwork gets drawn and shared. BoJay was a good subject to try it with because he had a huge quantity of stuff that most people haven’t seen before.

And people would easily understand what kind of material they would be seeing. There has been so much free work from BoJay over the years, he is a much known quantity

Brilliant idea what plans do you have for the future with the Ararchive and Bojay premiums?

I want to start developing the writing side of the AR archive I would also like to get more Bojay caliber artists involved in producing AR/AP.

If I can ever get the funds (BoJay Premium would never provide enough by itself to do it), I would like to get some animations done.

And just a couple of quick fun questions

Male or female ar?

Female AR

Science or magic?

hmmm, both

And finally, if you had the power to regress anybody in the world, who would it be?

If it wasn’t permanent, my wife. If it had to be someone famous, there is any number of female Celebs that would be enjoyable to AR.

Thanks for your time Mr Heidegger, Wish you all the best in developing the backbone of the are community
