Chapter Description: Being cute can be a hard job

Be cute

Little legs kick and squirm, an arm moves about while the other is close to the mouth and the thumb being sucked.

The expression is one of blissful innocence as the dark haired toddler is cleaned after her little accident in her nappy moments ago.

The process of being cleaned up doesn’t faze her at all, her body is merely reacting on instinct from the various feelings of the air on her young skin while the sucking of her thumb is a simple baby comfort.

Be cuddly

She feels something soft and thick being placed between her legs, brought up and fastened securely before being tucked in snugly.

Her thumb pops out of her mouth and she coos innocently, the comfort of her dry, soft nappy soothing to her young mind.

The thick garment is given a gentle pat and she is lifted from the changing table after a moment while her carer cleans up quickly. A hand pats the back of her nappy and Naomi Alice Watt cuddles her gently against her breast, rocking slightly.

Be innocent

"All better, cutie, clean and comfy" Reina Harit Beaumont, currently 18 months old after triggering her medical requirement almost an hour ago, coos a thank you.

"Now let’s see about a cute outfit for you and I think I know just the one. It’s from a series of video game and cartoon that used to be popular, I bought it a week after you arrived in this universe with Karen" Holding her charge tightly, but gently, Naomi heads over to a dresser and after placing the toddler down on a soft bed next to the dresser, searches for the outfit while Reina flops down on her back and sucks on the toes of a foot happily.

"Here we go, let’s get you looking even cuter than you are now" Lifting Reina up from the bed, Naomi heads back to the changing mat and sets the happy toddler down.

Gently she helps Reina into the outfit, being sure that Reina isn’t hurt in the process.

Be young

Once done she lifts Reina up and leaves the nursery and heads through to the living room where she sits Reina down on the sofa.

Quickly she grabs her digital camera and while Reina is sitting on the sofa, her outfit that of a yellow onesie with brown streaks, floppy ears and a floppy cloth tail and little yellow baby booties with her nappy peeping from the sides of the crotch piece, she takes a picture to preserve the moment.

"My little Pikacute, and cute being the by word. You are so cute that you might make people collapse from the sheer cuteness" Reina just babbles happily while Naomi saves the picture and places the camera away from a toddler’s curious hands.

Once done she grabs a brown and white soft toy bunny from the table, which is sitting next to an almost exact double of itself, one that Reina and Karen call Bun Bun –both the soft toys called that name , and hands it to Reina who takes it happily.

Sitting down next to the happy toddler, Naomi cuddles Reina close while Reina cuddles the toy with one arm, and her free arm moves up to her mouth, her hand curling into a fist with her thumb sticking out, and the thumb pops contently into her tiny mouth.

"My little Pikacute" Naomi says softly as Reina cuddles up against her, Bun Bun being cuddled, while suckling on her thumb contently.
